make pretty a pretty damning review of, a rather empty and detailed-information-lacking review...which btw is completely 180* inconsistent with many other users of the same gear who can qualify their statements with appropriate details.
I fail to see an arguement here, just an observation after an unanswered inquiry for more info and a revelation of your conflict of interest when it comes to offering unbiased feedback.No DUH the Brembo kit will "feel" different than the AZZC Wilwood kit, but that is not what you said originally...you are dialing it back now. You said they "get hot really fast"....well duh, ALL brakes get hot really fast, this is not an issue unless they heat up beyond their effective temperature range(or boil the fluid)....which was your obvious implication, a classic symptom of inappropriate pad selection if there ever was one. You followed that up with saying they didn't "have the initial bite" of the brembos....that may very well be, but again this rests entirely on pad selection. So to conclude that a purpose built kit "doesn't really compare" vs a frankensteined brake configuration taken off of another car with likely no regard for piston sizing but rather the mentality of "it came off the newer car and is the optional equipment, so it must be better" is a pretty bold statement. One that any car guy with half a brain, will want to follow up on with some questions on details....which you seem unwilling to offer. Why are you being so argumentative? What details can you give about the kit? Piston area? Pad height? Anything? This isn't about validating or invalidating any opinions or "being outspoken", this is simply about accurate info. Otherwise you sound like the guy who thinks the Z32 is the worst handling car ever built, failing to mention he hasn't paid a lick of attention to maintaining his suspension, much less upgrading it. It's a foolish statement
